Gardeners Unite Native Plants Donation and Lecture

Vargas Property Services recently partnered with the Town of Superior’s Gardeners’ Union group by donating Colorado native plants and providing an educational presentation focused on creating sustainable landscapes at home.

As a company committed to environmental stewardship and community involvement, Vargas Property Services believes that beautiful landscapes can also support local ecosystems, conserve water, and create healthier outdoor spaces. During the event, community members learned how to use Colorado native plants to transform traditional landscapes into resilient, low-maintenance environments that thrive in our unique climate.

The presentation covered the many benefits of native landscaping, including reduced water consumption, improved soil health, increased biodiversity, and support for important pollinators such as native bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. Attendees also received practical guidance on selecting native plants, designing pollinator-friendly gardens, and creating landscapes that require fewer resources while providing year-round beauty.

Supporting Sustainable Gardens with Colorado Native Plants

In addition to sharing knowledge, Vargas Property Services donated a variety of native plants to help participants begin or expand their own sustainable gardening projects. The donated plants were selected for their adaptability to Colorado’s climate and their value to local wildlife and pollinator populations.

The event reflects Vargas Property Services’ ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable landscaping practices throughout the Front Range. Through community partnerships, educational outreach, and environmentally responsible landscape solutions, VPS continues to help create healthier, more resilient landscapes for future generations.
