The training also addresses the risks of using cell phones or headphones while working, as they can create dangerous distractions; however, cell phones may be used in emergency situations.

Additionally, employees are trained to prevent electrical hazards in irrigation systems by performing utility locates before excavation, following grounding and surge protection protocols, and maintaining compliance through regular inspections. Employees are also instructed on how to inspect equipment, follow emergency procedures, and properly report incidents.
